A ban on mobile phones and other electronic devices in Dutch schools has improved focus among students, a study commissioned by the Dutch government found. japantimes.co.jp/news/2025/07/… #worldnews #education #netherlands #schools #phones

Sometimes you find these pure, concentrated examples for how Reddit is this monstrous, psychic torture dungeon that anyone can just wander into for free and then skydive down the most horrific rabbit holes, supercharge every personal malignant neurosis imaginable in the way down and then collectively roll around in your own misery like a pig in shit.

No knocking on ace folks intended, the fact that this one comes from that subreddit is pure coincidence.

Sorry, I couldn't process this image.

The image displays a text in white font on a black background. The text reads: "What specifically you find disgusting about sex? : r/asexuality - Reddit." The text is underlined, and the font is sans-serif, which is commonly used for clarity and readability. The text is centered on the image, and there are no other visible elements or decorations. The text is a question posed on the Reddit platform, specifically within the r/asexuality community, asking for personal opinions on what aspects of sex are considered disgusting.

Personally I always had issues with the concept of a "country" and "borders"

Like who are you to tell me where I can and cannot go on this planet..

Everyone should be free to travel where ever they want on this planet

Just because a huuman claimed land centuries ago decides how we live, it's pretty messed up if you ask me

in reply to stux⚡️

For example but personally you could be a terrorist or even worse a russian. Why should decent states allow you in their sweet home?

@noboilerplate Are you seeing this issue in Breadcrumbs recently? Feels like it just started happening for me in the last day and I'm having trouble figuring out why...
in reply to ZeStig

@zstg really great way to organise your vault! It inspired my workflow here youtube.com/watch?v=B0yAy2j-9V…

in reply to No Boilerplate

@zstg Do I understand correctly that this is somewhat similar to Excalibrain? Interesting! I’ll definitely check it out.
in reply to No Boilerplate

@zstg A very elegant solution!
The only thing I missed was the ability to view the connection (in the code block) from the parent downwards, provided that this starting note itself doesn't have any named links (its children refer to it as their parent).
in reply to Maxim Syomochkin

@msemochkin @zstg You can do this! There’s a tree view where you can see from the parent note all the children (implied or otherwise).
in reply to Nicole van der Hoeven

@msemochkin @zstg yes, exaxy. It only works when viewing the highest parent note, as it only shows children, but it's good enough for me!
I start my browsing at this note and drill down.
in reply to Nicole van der Hoeven

@zstg Oh! Now I get it! Thank you for the clarification. I haven’t gotten to transitive Implied relations yet. Silly me—I assumed they were generated automatically (like in excalibrain, which I’m used to).
in reply to Maxim Syomochkin

@msemochkin @zstg No, not silly! I totally get it. I am more used to ExcaliBrain too. Although I'm just now experimenting with using both (because properties can be read by both) as folgezettel. Previously I was linking notes semantically. We'll see how I go...
in reply to Nicole van der Hoeven

@msemochkin @zstg also try the Graph Link Types plugin it labels the edges on the built in graph. I filter by `[up:: ]` to get only links that are part of my main ontology, it kinda works too!
