We got our motorhome stuck for the first time! videos.trom.tf/w/bxTbZkK2TYaUY…

But it happened in a super beautiful place, Cerro Masatrigo, and a very nice local man came to our rescue.

I also did a nice little hike called Sendero Fortaleza de Lares to get an even better view of this area in Extremadura (around the middle of Spain).

Getting stuck in the most beautiful place

Masatrigo looks like a volcano, but it is just a beautifully shaped hill with a roundabout around it. It looks so cool from afar, and the entire area is actually super beautiful. But it has been raining in Spain for many weeks and the soil/grass was very wet. We parked in a not so very steep place, but it was enough to get us totally stuck.

Luckily a very nice old man came to our rescue.

I found a very interesting YouTube channel of a homeless English-speaking Japanese man. Why did it interest me? Because I always thought that without electricity and water, etc., without a home in short. A van or an apartment. It's very difficult. This man shows a different kind of life. There are a lot of YouTubers who live in a car or a van or a cabin without electricity, but very few homeless people (by choice. Mentally stable) who have to rely on electrical outlets in cafes and libraries, Public showers and finding a place every night to pitch a tent.

Will have a look. Seems interesting. For me personally I need electricity, water, and at least a tiny home :) - on wheels like we have now.

Beyond the Redesign Rhetoric: Labour, Power, and the Hidden Costs of AI-Ready Assessment

What does it really mean to redesign assessment in response to AI?

This blog post explores how institutional structures, labour dynamics and managerial logics shape what kind of assessment redesign is possible. It argues that the call to “redesign assessment” often ignores the conditions under which such work is expected to happen.

How can we create the time, trust and infrastructure to support assessment that is meaningful, critical and educationally purposeful?
