People traveling to the past should be way more worried about their gut bacteria. Imagine what 1800s food and water would do to you... Not pretty.

I'm always compelled to point out that the problem isn't doing something that will radically change the future, but rather, that you can or cannot control or predict that change. Great, you changed the future from one outcome you didn't know about to ANOTHER outcome you don't know about.
