I wanna nuke Windows from the gaming PC. can I ask my sysadmin to set up a Windows VM for Steam? will Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition work there? I wanna play ranked maybe too
As long as you can somewhat competently read english, you should have no problem gaming via Steam on linux without the supervision of any ""sysadmin"" type person. Most games are playable without any hassle, they "just work" nowadays. However, some online games will flag you as a cheater if they detect you playing from without a Windows environment.
