Huh. Lots of new people here from something called #forkiverse.

Welcome forkpeople?

Edit: Hmm. I'll error on the side of "startup troubles" but I've already blocked two #theforkiverse people for being inconsiderate arseholes ("no man it was just a meme"). Is this maybe why a bunch of people write they just blocked the instance?

Looks like one of the hosts of the NYT Podcast "Hard Fork", Kevin Roose @kevin, along with the podcast Search Engine, spun up a mastodon instance and opened up sign-ups to their listeners.

I mean, if you are trying to start the #forkiverse you should get the basics right.
What's that you say? You meant fork as in forking? Like a fork in the road? In that case they would be one, two, and three forked ones.
On what authority do I speak? I, Sir or Madam, have made the pilgrimage to Creede Colorado and touched THE fork!
