Regarding dependence, it is an objective fact that we depend on the planet from which we emerged, on nature. Without air, water, food and environmental protection, we die.
And yes, in the society we live in most of us depend on each other, we rely on each other to produce food, houses, provide energy, transport, education, etc.
We are social beings and co-dependent on nature, which we are denying and damaging largely because we are trapped in this trade based system.
I agree with you that being more emotionally autonomous and not dependent on other people is important to be able to feel fulfilled with ourselves and lead a life that allows us to stay healthy and to think of others. But that requires individuals to live together in a safe environment where their basic needs are met without the need to compete or the use of violence.
In the context of the video I shared about the genocide in Gaza, the goal of making people less dependent, if that is what you meant by your text, for me would be based on providing all those who inhabit that piece of land on the planet with all the basic needs they may have and offering them a relevant education so that they can contribute to the world through their wonderful minds.
