I do have a question if old macbooks can be saved?

@Mike I was wondering and I disassembled a macbook which had this wifi card that you can see on that picture on the left : osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/1…

what kind of wifi card could I replace that with in order to use that laptop with linux?
something like this: amazon.de/Dual-Band-Bluetooth-…

or would I need something like this adapter:
amazon.de/-/en/KALEA-INFORMATI…

and a module like this:
amazon.de/-/en/Bluetooth-Wirel…

That's a very specific question, I know, but I am just curious and maybe you tried this already or have an answer to that :)

Aaron did you try out of curiosity to boot TROMjaro on such a machine? We installed some drives to make these old macbooks work. Like this https://www.broadcom.com/site-search?filters[pages][content_type][values][]=Downloads&q=802.11%20linux%20sta%20wireless%20driver

@Tio @Mike there is the broadcom_sta driver, but that one doesn't work reliable and is insecure...
The module is BCM4360 and is not included on the site you shared.
