The #solar cycle 25 does not disappoint! Here some of the #sunspots today as imaged from my backyard. There's a chance of auroras thanks to the X-class flares from AR3842.

@tio it’s a Mewlon 210 with a televue powermate 2x. The camera is a ZWO ASI 533MM Pro. I have a film filter in front of the telescope and a bandpass infrared filter right before the camera.

That's a serious gear! That is an expensive camera. One day I may buy one. For now I am trying to get some photos with my phone and my Celestron 130 SLT.

Thanks for the headsup about the spots, I'll go out tomorrow to watch them.
