In today's Observer Magazine their technology editor Patricia Clarke spends ten pages extolling the virtues of a positive social media (choosing to do something different from doom scrolling) & introducing eight social media posters who deliver positivity.

Which is all very well but in her list of platforms, of course, no mention of Mastodon nor its humanistic & positive environment, or its norm of engaged conversation.

Once again, my friends we are consigned to the shadows!

#Mastodon

I understand that sentiment, I just find it odd that a Technology *Editor* who one might expect to have some responsibility to know what is *actually* going on in social media fails to mention Mastodon... unless she is (like us) already here, and come to the same conclusion you both have (perhaps?)
