@sujee why so many profiles?

and...

what exactly you mean by free software or trading free services?

here at #ahoxus we currently have some open and free "positions" to work with novel 100% free software, if you will be interested. 😏

in reply to cregox

Haha! I was trying all the fediverse software to find if what suits me the best. I still did not find a "perfect" one. I still prefer pleroma over others when it comes to daily usage.
But there are some nice features here on friendica as well. Like we can delete any post posted by anyone from our feed. If you don't like one particular post to appear in your feed, you don't have to mute the person. You can just delete that particular post alone.

By free software I mean in the sense of open source, letting anyone to do whatever they want with their own copy. I don't still have a crystal clear idea about trading free services, but I believe it's providing what I can in exchange for something someone else can provide.

Woah that sounds fancy. What kind of services do you expect for me to provide?

in reply to Sujeewa

sounds awesome! 🥰

i only ever tested mastodon, misskey, and pleroma so far the one i sticked with. yes, big competition out there.

for me, the simplest one will win for sure, so i can customize it to me will later on, when i get back into hands on coding somehow eventually.

here you find the simplest of them all services we need right now write.ahoxus.org/cregox/aloze

I see! Very nice!
I read the article that you have linked about how the html should be written. Feel free to let me know when you need help.

Understandable I am not very religious as well. With time great philosophies have been polluted and commercialized. It happened to Buddhism too. But this is different. I was born a Buddhist but never cared for it because in our temples and schools all we were taught is just stories. The real philosophy wasn't even touched. It's the same even for most of the monks. But this monastery I told you about just teaches the philosophy and how it can be applied to the practical life.

Nice... I will be keeping an eye open for more posts. :hailking

in reply to Sujeewa

well, if you can work on the html right away, do whatever you feel comfortable with and let me know. 🥰

we can even get in a voice call eventually to line things up, as i would prefer. 😏

in reply to Sujeewa

i honestly didn't care to watch the whole video🥺, but from the minute i saw, it looks nicely informative. 😁
in reply to cregox

finally found #akkoma! but no idea why the first #soapbox hashtag don't properly "link" my new post to it on my search, by placing them next to each other.

me #fedinoob #fuckingfedinoob 💀

in reply to cregox

Akkoma :thinking face: huh never heard of it before. I couldn't find any instance running that software. I wonder why.
in reply to Sujeewa

it doesn't exist yet! 🤣

look for my comments in the hashtag, i also got completely lost early on.

in reply to cregox

i really could use an auto https remover akkoma.dev/AkkomaGang/akkoma/#…

Sujeewa reshared this.

in reply to cregox

Holy moly! Now that's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing. Now I will be waiting for someone to install #akkoma on their server so I can make one more account

Sujeewa reshared this.

in reply to Sujeewa

either of you can do it at ahoxus! i will love to try it.

i would add it to a.ahoxus.org and ideally make it work with cregox@ahoxus.org (rather than a.ahoxus.org) when using it outside 😁

in reply to cregox

woah just noticed! we already have this FE in stereophonic!
in reply to Sujeewa

what you mean?

the installation instructions are there. we (probably @kcubeterm since i might take forever to do it) just need to give you SSH access.

in reply to cregox

I mean install this version of pleroma. This is akkoma right? The improved pleroma? That's what I got.

SSH access? For me? Oh sorry I don't think I can do it. It's probably too technical for me
Still has a lot to learn.

in reply to Sujeewa

yes.

ssh indeed can feel like too much, because it does consume a lot of time tl and mostly reading to learn. but it doesn't take anymore than that.

you can do it whenever you feel ready, if you really will to.

in reply to Sujeewa

will you still get something done in the html? very curious to see what you can come up with! 😁
in reply to cregox

ohhh okay I see.
Forgive me I didn't get you are writing comments using tags until now
in reply to Sujeewa

can you see my reactions? i just sent u a thumbs up there.
in reply to cregox

Oh sorry no I can't see those on friendica. I should use misskey or pleroma for interactions like that. :thinking face: Time to fire up my misskey after a long time.
in reply to Sujeewa

or perhaps time to choose one and stick to it?! 🤤
in reply to cregox

A good idea. I should do that. I was going to choose something like this. But when it comes to usability it's not practical. Misskey might be the better choice.
in reply to cregox

there's a saying in portuguese that i love because of its clarity mixed with ambiguity. and probably because of some sort of nostalgia as well.

the shortest form:
"1 pouco 2 bom 3 demais"

i will transliterate it:
1 is short/too-little
2 is fine/good
3 is too much (but it could mean "awesome", very ambiguous word)

in reply to cregox

I see, very hard to choose one actually. Sometimes the awesome one gets boring.
