We can choose to see beyond all physical characteristics, though, so in a way, it's true. That doesn't mean it is for all of us, though.


I recently saw someone claim that blind people can't be racist, because we "see" beyond all physical characteristics. This isn't the first time I've seen people say things like this, but I want to be very direct and say that it's completely untrue, and a harmful claim.
