A little sea bathing will set us up forever

Ellen and I had a goal to take a swim in the ocean before the summer ended. Yesterday that box was ticked when Ellen and I crossed the road in front of our accommodation, the Glenisle Hotel, walked across the rocky, sandy, seaweedy beach and took a dip in Lamlash Bay. The bay where you swam looks very picturesque. Do you have any idea how cold the water was? You two are brave!

But the sun was out and we warmed up right away - especially Ellen, because she was dressed in black.
