LCARS DE looks pretty cool, seems like an annoying thing to install though. Not an overly difficult process, one that will eat up a little time, though. This DE which recreates the aesthetic of LCARS from the Star Trek makes me feel nostalgic and reminds me of why technology fascinates me.

The idea that all our personal and work related electronics could be reworked with a highly useable form of LCARS; that gave me hope as a young man.

As much as I want to love this, I just can't bring myself to forfeit that much screen space for perty UI. However, I do think LCARS makes for the perfect home-automation console interface, which is exactly what my new one will be using. 😁

@eshep Yeah, I don't see myself sacrificing a lot of screen space to LCARS either. After the dev team refines LCARS a bit more to optimally make the most of a user's screen; I could be convinced to try it.

I can see LCARS being ideal for either home-automation or mobile devices.
