The kindergarten uses #sdui. Not a fan of yet another app on my gorram phone so I threw it in my Waydroid install.

Came with a button box to notify me via mail on news.

Yeah it does exactly that. It just says "Hey news". Have to open the app to _see_ the news.

News was "details in the attached PDF".

Nothing on my Waydroid knows how to open that.

Idk but somewhere in the last years we took a very wrong turn.
