From a post On X: On May 21st, I published and translated photos about Eliran Mizrahi, a reserve soldier in the engineering corps who was always posting about the war crimes he committed in #Gaza.
Eliran Mizrahi, who fought in the Gaza Strip since October 7th, ended his life by shooting himself last Friday - two days before he was supposed to return to fight in #Rafah.
#Mizrahi, 40 years old, left behind a wife and four children. He was called up for reserve duty at the beginning of the war by Order 8 and worked as a D9 bulldozer driver, destroying Palestinian homes.
He entered the Gaza Strip and, according to Hebrew media, was exposed to dozens of anti-tank missiles, survived resistance ambushes, small arms fire, and explosive devices and mines.
After half a year of fighting, Eliran returned home. He was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, but despite this, he requested to continue serving in the reserves. Shortly after his release from the reserves, he received another Order 8, and he was supposed to report again today.
Now, his family demands that he be buried in a military funeral. His father said, "The army took him, and the army should take care of his burial. We will not hold a non-military funeral. He remained in Gaza even when he was at home and was preparing to go out today for reserve duty by Order 8."

إليران مزراحي، الذي قاتل في قطاع غزة منذ 7 أكتوبر، أنهى حياته بإطلاق النار على نفسه يوم الجمعة الماضي - يومين قبل أن كان من المقرر أن يعود للقتال في رفح.
مزراحي، البالغ من العمر 40 عامًا، ترك وراءه زوجة وأربعة أطفال. تم استدعاؤه للاحتياط في بداية الحرب بأمر 8 وعمل كسائق جرافة D9 وقام بتدمير منازل الفلسطينيين.
دخل قطاع غزة وتعرض -بحسب الإعلام العبري- لعشرات الصواريخ المضادة للدروع، ونجى من كمائن للمقاومة ومن إطلاق نار من الأسلحة الخفيفة ومن عبوات ناسفة وألغام.
بعد نصف عام من القتال، عاد إليران إلى المنزل. تم تشخيصه بأنه يعاني من اضطراب ما بعد الصدمة، ورغم ذلك طلب الاستمرار في الخدمة الاحتياطية، بعد فترة قصيرة من إطلاق سراحه من الاحتياط، تلقى أمر 8 آخر، وكان من المقرر أن يلتحق اليوم مجددًا.
الآن، تطالب عائلته بأن يُدفن بجنازة عسكرية، وقال والده: "الجيش أخذه ويجب على الجيش أن يعتني بدفنه. لن نقيم جنازة ليست عسكرية، فقد بقي في غزة حتى عندما كان في المنزل واستعد للخروج اليوم للخدمة الاحتياطية بأمر 8".
