Some observations:
- there were thousands of people there, perhaps tens of thousands. One of the volunteers said that 75,000 had attended a similar event recently at another venue
- so many people brought their dogs! 🦮
- a few competitors dropped out, and one is seen in this video
- toward the end, we went to the start/finish area. The start box is in the foreground, and the finish line in the background
- the cross country event went on for about 5 hours. There were about 76 entrants, from as far away as New Zealand
