Strange timeline in Android apps?

!Friendica Support So when trying out some Android apps with Friendica (Fedilab, Tusky and Twidere) I noticed a lot of accounts are appearing in my timeline which I do not follow.
It turned out that these accounts are replies to posts of accounts I'm following. So every reply to a post of an account I'm following appears in my timeline without context.
For example:

I'm only following one of the five accounts in the picture. The rest are replies to other posts.
So how can I get a clearer view of my timeline in mobile apps?

As far as i figured out, you can't.

In Fedilab any reply is put on top of your timeline. By tapping on one of these, you open the thread belonging to this reply.

In Tusky it seems a litte bit better, because the timeline only shows up the posts of these accounts, you are following.
But as soon as there is a new reply to one of these posts, itself is shown on top of your timeline, regardless how old it is. Again by tapping on this post yout get the wohle thread of replies.

There is a setting in "social networks" > "general social media setting" called "Followed content scope", which doesn't affect the behaviour of these apps.

There ist a litte bit outdated app called DiCa, which does what you are looking for.

As @Bionk mentioned earlier in this conversation, this should be governed by the "Followed content scope" settings in Settings -> Social Networks -> General Social Media Settings.

If it only affects the desktop timeline but not mobile apps using the API then it's an issue that should be reported.
