I honestly never understood explicit conversion until... now. pulling numbers out of strings... the console.WriteLine method in C#, always produces a string, so you have to convert it to a numeric value when doing math.

Somebody on #Mastodon assumed I was a guy. Funniest thing I have had happen to me all week so far. For once, I'm somebody who laughs at such things; I seriously don't have time to take part in the "offense culture" that's taken hold of this universe.

accidentally changed my @WakaTime API key trying to show it (those buttons for generate a new one and show could be better labeled for screen readers, right now they just say "button"), and now newly installed VS 2022 is not tracking data.

@coinbase it's a security problem to not allow removing a phone number that's used for 2FA, especially after I don't have access to that number anymore.

On another note... I'm consistently sad regarding the education people get in school regarding computers. The majority of things that people are taught don't encompass the whole bredth of abilities that devices have.

I hate to consider any area where Mother boston reigns to be cursed, but she is only one entity.
