The other day... I was on my way to work, and in front of my building here in Somerville, was a woman walking her golden retriever. His face was as white as snow. Even though they get old, they never cease being cute. Goldens in particular; them, and huskies.
In 11th c. England a man named Joshua Linnet once drowned a beautiful woman he believed was a witch, in Blakemere Pool. She vowed to drown him as well, and 3 days later, he was found there floating dead, with injuries that seemed to be caused by sharp claws.
And it gets worse when the tone of the voice making the statement is so pitiful I want to scream.
The next person who says that they are sorry for somebody's blindness is getting a verbal beat down. Does anyone realize... or give a dang... regarding just how insulting that actually is to us? One way to make the world more inclusive? Treat us like people, not as other.
