One thing that the new Twitter will never convince me to do... buy verification. I'm the real Cambridgeport90, and as far as I know, I haven't done anything in this universe to convince people otherwise. I'm also the only one, as far as Google is concerned.
It boggles my mind the small, silly things people derive status and esteem from. A blue checkmark rather than, say, reputation or a history of producing good content or, like, just being a good human - really?
