Just watched a UFC fight and the fight was stopped due "accidental injury"the challenger poking his opponent in both eyes!
Looked at the slow mo playback and it was definitely not accidental!

When I was young, it was always a turnip lantern at this time of year.
Back then the UK wasn't so Americanised.

I've just been told by my grandson that an area of Preston, Ingol has been closed down due to explosives being found at a property.
My grandson has been told that there are at least 10 ambulances, lots of police vans and army explosives team in the vicinity.

I think most analysts quote 1979 as the turning point.
Prior to this, it was the norm for a single wage earner's income to be able to support a wife and two kids, and a house, etc.
I remember that both my parents had to work to get ends to meet when I was 8 (this was almost 50 years back). I guess your mileage could vary between countries and so on.

We have just walked home from the local restaurant, and we had to keep stopping because we could feel spiders webs across our faces, when we brushed the thread off we could feel several more lifting off our hair!

"Oi!" I called.
"The hoard was unguarded," the dragon said. "I claim it."
Every damn year. It'll leave once the leaves lose their golden hue. Meanwhile, I can't order takeaway.
