When I heard “Whiskey Pete” Kegsbreath was summoning high ranking U.S. military brass from all over the globe to a “meeting,” I couldn’t help but think of this flick. If you’ve never seen it, ya might wanna check it out. Sure makes ya think. Of course, the Frederic March portrayal of the POTUS is somewhat more likable than what we’re currently stuck with!

My son, Ryan, killed in action in Iraq on 1 August, 2006. Every time I watch “It’s A Wonderful Life” and hear this line, I can’t help but think of my boy.
