📢 Calling participatory researchers in agroecology! Submit your abstract for the AEET–SFE2–EEF Joint Meeting 2027
“Together in ecology: bridging nature and society for resilient futures”, 20–24 September 2027 in Zaragoza, Spain.

Join us in our session “Building community: inter- and transdisciplinary dialogues for the Agroecological Transition”.

Advancing agroecological transitions requires rethinking ecological processes, social dynamics, and governance structures, while engaging with diverse stakeholder perspectives, needs and motivations. We invite you to present research exploring biodiversity patterns, soil, microbial ecology and ecological functioning of agroecosystems, together with biodiversity–ecosystem services relationships, farmers perceptions and other social-ecological processes. We particularly encourage work that connects ecology research with society through co-designed interventions, bridges disciplinary boundaries and, integrates multiple knowledge systems. The conference, where the Spanish society for Terrestrial Ecology (AEET) joint to the French Society for Ecology and Evolution (Sfe2) and the European Ecological Federation (EEF) call on the community of ecology researchers to co-create knowledge, promote courageous actions, and strengthen socio-ecological resilience seems a perfect opportunity for this session.
We aim to show that working with the people pays out and that participatory science is amazing.

📅 Deadline is Monday, 16th November 2026 (14:00 h. UTC+1)!
