Been living in @Vivaldi full-time for a little over 2 years now, and I still don’t miss Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. As a Vivaldi ambassador and a security nerd, the built-in tracker/ad blocking plus per-site controls are exactly the kind of “privacy by default” I want in a browser.
I wrote up how I set up Vivaldi’s blocklists when moving people over from the big browsers: mapping common uBlock/AdGuard setups, choosing the right sources, and keeping sites usable without turning protection off globally.

Why does Windows still require a reboot after uninstalling & installing some software? Why does a Windows device still take too much time to boot & be work-ready, even with high-end specs? Android & iOS are well ahead of Windows. I hope these drawbacks will be fixed in Windows 12.

If you haven’t tried the new PeerTube app it is fantastic! My favourite discovery has been the chapter marks on the timeline & chapter title in the top left.
Usable with no account, I think this will make PeerTube more accessible to video consumers coming from other platforms. I’m seriously loving this thing, and can’t wait for the ability to login and interact, comment, like and subscribe!
