Funchal, Madeira today where we had blue skies and loads of warmth for a cable car ride up to the tropical gardens at Monte. Huge place, we couldn't see it all, and beautiful. A bit of shopping afterwards in the city, then we stopped for some beers, and that's when the rain absolutely thundered out of the sky. Utterly drenched when we got aboard so a hot shower, some food, and now it's to the wine bar for a few hours.
