"This would not be the first time that an autocrat has used a war to deflect attention, crack down domestically, and silence dissent. With his domestic agenda hugely unpopular and his legal losses piling up, bombing Iran would be the most dramatic (and dangerous) way to shift gears."

So far, Chump and Dunce have been trying to define this as a war against Iran's nuclear program, but if they start saying we are at war with Iran, start looking closely at state and local elections.

Multiple times in US history the we have paused elections in time of war and while Chump is not smart enough to make the connection, Dunce will make it.

A visitor from space! ☄️

While resting under a blanket of stars, ESO's Very Large Telescope (VLT) is lit up by the green glow of a passing meteor.

The light emitted by this cosmic visitor reveals a little bit about it: the greenish streaks suggest that the meteor might have some magnesium contained in its mix of burning stuff.

The image depicts a coastal road that curves along the edge of a steep cliff, with a bridge connecting two sections of the road. The road is paved and appears to be a two-lane highway with vehicles traveling on it. The surrounding landscape is lush and green, with vegetation covering the cliffside. The ocean is visible on the left side of the image, with waves crashing against the rocks below. The sky is overcast with clouds, suggesting a cool or temperate climate. The colors in the image are predominantly green from the vegetation, blue from the ocean, and gray from the road and sky. The bridge is a significant feature, with its concrete pillars supporting the roadway above the water. The overall scene is one of a scenic coastal drive, with the road and bridge as the focal points against the natural backdrop.
