Due to increased activity on eastern flank of #PalisadesFire, significant new evacuations have been issued. Mandatory orders now extend all way east to I-405 corridor (!), & there are even limited warnings across 405 into Bel Air & north to Ventura Blvd (!). [1/2] #CAwx #CAfire

This is a significant, & somewhat unexpected development. UCLA campus remains outside of any evacuation orders or warning, but is now much closer than before. Personally, I highly doubt this fire will make it to the east of the 405, but the situation remains fluid. #CAfire [2/2]
