I saw a brief 502 error with friendica today....but was very brief....maybe a hiccup I hope. Our invidious didnt work for like 12h last night. I think it still works hella better than before but I need to force it restart every couple of hours as it is officially recommended. So the trains still work well. I worked a bit on TROM II today. Will make it a priority from now on. @Future is FOSS created a wonderful script to fix a nasty thing with XFCE and the .desktop files. You see basically if you install an app on TROMjaro (flatpak, repos, or snaps) then edit it via right click from the XFCE menu or via MenuLibre, and change the name of this app or add it to a new category, then what XFCE does is to create a new .desktop file in the home .local/share/applications.

Problem is, if you uninstall this tweaked app then the app is still present in XFCE's menu like a zombie. You click it and nothing happens. So you have to know to delete the .desktop file for that app from that folder.... NOT good!

There is no other way...

So we made a script that basically fixes this automagically, thanks to @Future is FOSS . I love it and this is how it should actually be. #tromlive
