True! Thank you! And wow you have been through a lot! Sorry to hear that...

Yes I have felt that before this relationship. I relied on myself entirely and was supper happy to live like that. But of course when you live with a person for several years they also become part of "you", and when they are gone, part of you is missing. You have to fill that up.

You do.. It's this big hole where something used to be. Being divorced was easy, there was the anger to cover most of the loss, death is different but I found that again, being angry (abandoned and dumped.. yet again.. grrr insert very rude words!!) helped even though it was obviously futile. Something to get through the initial shock and disruption.. something to focus on instead of empty sorrow. I could put more of that in words but I don't want to cause pain. It's been 8 years since my husband died.. and some days I still cry.. but mostly when I'm happy. It's a big world out there, tomorrow is a different universe. When you are ready take that leap into the unknown don't hesitate (hesitation is a deadly sin.. it's fatal and leads to "what if" regret). A very wise and very old woman in Japan once said to me "Life is but once, so go for it!" Wishing you well in whatever you do and wherever you end up.

I cannot imagine how it is to lose your partner. Yah she cheated on me and broke up with me, but I am happy she is ok really. Losing your loved one must be hell. You are resilient!

I like that Japanse saying. I used to say the same in a silly way: Life is like an ice-cream, if you don't lick it, it will melt. :)) So enjoy it!

I hope you are ok and happy. I try to keep myself busy with the stuff I love doing...my projects and such.
