Laptop battery on Linux is like...
Battery: Oh hi. I'm here with you for like 8h 43min.
Opening some tabs, playing some music.
Battery: I'll be gone in 5h.
Me: What? 5 minutes ago you said you'll stay for almost 9h....what happened?
Battery: Nevermind, I'll be here for 7h 20min.
Me: Damn ok....
Battery: I mean 6h 30min.
Me: Chill dude....ok....
30 minutes later after doing some design work...
Battery: I don't want to bother you but I have to go in like 3h or so.
....I meant 4h. Actually 2h 40min. Nevermind, probably I'll stay around for 5 more hours.
A documentary later the battery is still going to last for 5 more hours.
Me: Click on the browser.
Battery: Ok man, I swear in 2h I need to go.
Me: Fuck me, ok, I'll charge you.
Battery: Thanks. 1h 40min till full charge. I meant 2h 30min. Sorry, 1h and we are FULL! 1h 20min...
Bless you Linux hahaha.
So yeah....the battery on my laptop is good I guess. Realistically (and for me personally) it lasts enough to watch a few documentaries probably, and do a few hours of design work. Whatever....is not like I rely on this but I wonder why is Linux so unsure about how long the battery can last even if you do the same thing for hours on end :)
Anyway, I love you Linux and Open Source, don't worry.
