Oh this sounds very cool. Unfortunately I am too busy these days but as soon as I have some time I will test it. Do you plan @Fedilab Apps to support Friendica's features like long posts, inline media, and such? Also ping to @Rokosun :) he would love this and he will test it a lot am sure :)

I tested Friendica supoort on the latest beta release here - https://toot.fedilab.app/@apps/108346755623242765

For some reason I still can't login to my account on social.trom.tf, it just crashes the app. However I was successfully able to login to my account on venera.social. The local/global timelines weren't loading, and I couldn't test the home feed because I don't follow anyone from that account. I just started following you now, so let's see if it works after some time......

Also I noticed that opening someone's profile page crashes the app. I expect these kinds of bugs on a beta release, so its not a big deal.

@tio is my instance admin and he said we're only behind one friendica release, mastodon API was implemented long before that, right ? And Tio also said he'll be updating the friendica instance next week, so it'll be running the latest version by then.

[Friendica] Cannot login on some instances

I am not able to login to my friendica account on https://social.trom.tf. But I was able to successfully login to an older unused account I had on https://venera.social, so it works on some instances.

This is Friendica, version 2022.05-rc that is running at the web location https://nerdica.net.
A couple of versions ago the app would crash when selecting nerdica.net as an instance, now (at least since v14) it just stays blocked on that first page instead of opening nerdica's login page

Can you comment this in the git issue mentioned above ?

Fedilab currently has some issues with Friendica. It might be easier to fix these if Friendica devs are willing to help, that's why I mentioned it here. There is actually a tag now for submitting git issues related to Friendica, so its worth taking a look at.

Is this a bug on friendica's mastodon API ? Maybe you could give us more insight into these issues.

[Friendica] home timeline doesn't show who boosted a post

If someone I follow boosted a post, it appears on my home timeline. But when this happens it just appears like a normal post without any indication that its being boosted by this person.
