Damn I upgraded Friendica via Yunohost and completely failed as expected :D. But this time I took precautionary measures. Backups + sanpshots of the server. After trying for hours to restore Friendica via backups the server failed to restore 10GB of databse files...luckily I had a server snapshot and I restored everything in seconds. Now everything seems to work fine but lets see how we go about updating Friendica. At least I know the snapshots work. I mean....if they would not and would wipe the server data (as that's how they operate), then everything would be gone....peertube, cryptpad, netcloud, friendica, all of trom.tf + our german websites....

I do have backups for all, offline, but would take me days to restore everything.

So yah....lets see about Friendica how I'm gonna update it... #tromlive
