Here’s an image I captured yesterday morning—a northern cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) in mid-flight, taking off from a stand of trees. The way I’ve framed it gives the image a subtle 3D effect, adding depth and movement to the scene.

Apparently #PerplexityAI CEO is annoyed that people are sharing that article where he is quoted saying that their browser will track everything users do to sell more ads.
> “That’s kind of one of the other reasons we wanted to build a browser, is we want to get data even outside the app to better understand you,” Srinivas said.

As summer in the Northern Hemisphere approaches, it is important to keep in mind how temperatures are changing... 🌡️
Shifting distribution to the right ➡️ increasing societal risks from extreme heat.
The driver? Humans... The burning of fossil fuels.

In Medieval Germany, they had what was called Marriage Duels, where a husband and wife could physically fight each other.
To make things fair, the husband had to stand in a hole with one hand tied behind his back, holding a sword in his free hand, while the woman hit him with a bag of rocks.
I'm going to bring this up every time someone has a problem with No Fault Divorce.

in reply to AKingsbury • •Thank you, that's sweet. However, I didn't install it, nor did it scare me.
I was pointed to it by someone, and didn't need it as I already have an alarm on my phone, but read the small text anyway out of curiosity. I actually thought it was quite funny. Although I agree with you it's funny in a harrowing way, just as capitalism almost always is.
The app is recommended by some therapists. I think those therapists may be in need of some therapy themselves.
Also I REALLY recommend everyone to read the Terms Of Service (especially about privacy & costs) before installing ANY app. It's quite unbelievable what people will install without checking, and what commercial app stores (Google, Apple) will allow.

I wish I found it surprising that you apparently feel the need or impulse to express agreement with me on a position I never took.

Me using a single word does not mean I'm agreeing with any phrase you decide to insert that word into.
"What's wrong with that, and why do you seem to be insulted now? I'm thanking you?"
I'm hardly insulted. I'm just pointing out that your commentary is flawed.
