Farm Pond by Gordon Frisbie is a strange, real-life romance bound by tender slabs of rigmarole--for almost twenty pages. Then the author ran out of material. Lacking a plot, he encouraged his imaginary friends to fill this void. As one would expect, this lack of governance failed to inspire any resolution and the narrative dillied and dallied. So the author threatened his subjects with demonic evil and this got the ball rolling.
