Money only has value when it is scarce. Whether money is hoarded by the Church, by Elon Musk, by the Mafia or whoever, the objective of hoarding it is to control its value so that you can control the people who have less.
Paying everyone more does not resolve this.
The money should be hoarded by the State, and then spent in the interests of the people of that State, with nobody having a veto by way of out bidding decision making.
Ultimately, the question is not, 'who has the money', the question is, 'who has control'.

If banks created 'infinite amounts' of money then the money would be worthless.
Creating money to buy things doesn't create more things to buy.
The distribution of money is the important part.
