Panellists exchanged notes about how to raise awareness and minimise their dependence on proprietary software, at least for club-related activities
It was noted that groups like the Free Software Community of India (#FSCI) are already running some alternatives, such as meet.fsci.in for video calls. Raising awareness of existing alternatives to proprietary web platforms, like #Codeberg (powered by #Forgejo) and #Penpot is an important step in this process
