Some work on FosseryWeb page-builders:
I did some rewrite of the tool, separate out HTML templates from the generation logic, and use Jinja to fill in the templates during generation (this introduces an additional dependency, which some might consider bloat, but since I'll probably be the only one using it, it doesn't matter that much I guess, I rather focus on cleaner code, long-term maintainability). I also created a separate function to handle the Markdown validation logic, and call it before prompting for the description, to give immediate feedback, and rewrote the error messages to be clearer, more organized.

France's Ministry of Education needed to bring a solution used across individual academies to a single national platform, without losing control of the infrastructure or the data.

Today, the French Ministry of Education runs a Nextcloud instance scaled for 1.2 million employees. That includes teachers and administrators across central and regional services.

What made Nextcloud a platform of choice?
🔐 Independently running service: no third party can shut down the service
🌍 Full data sovereignty: the Ministry controls all user data and infrastructure
🛠️ Collaboration with Nextcloud on roadmap and feature development

The ministry deployed federated Nextcloud on its own data centers. Open source drove the decision: it means no vendor lock in or external dependency could dictate the terms. More than that, the Ministry could sit at the table with Nextcloud on roadmap decisions and help us shape the offering for large-sclae educational setups.

Today, 337,000 staff use Nextcloud daily for file sync and sharing.

PeerTube 6.3 released, it separates audio and video tracks of newly uploaded videos, which makes possible to play only audio, or create audio only live streams; video download modal got simplified (with advanced options still available for those who need it), there's a new option to display a subtitle sidebar next to video player, where subtitles change while video is played, and clicking on a subtitle lets to jump into that specific part of the video:
