I don't know if I can outdo my past self in terms of sheer amount of work put into these books...I am scared to look at them and realize how much effort was put into writing, sourcing, proofreading, and designing.
It took us around half a year or more to finish this book. Maybe a year I don't remember...

Like this book about Language is for me lifechanging in regards to this subject, I changed the way I see "language" forever while writing it. And hopefully would have the same impact on those reading it. But if I were to make a video about it....that would be a massive course, not a video. And would require a lot of "performing" and video editing. Presenting, recording, video editing...insanity.
So yah am wondering how to "move forward"....write books? Try making videos?
Currently I am writing about culture. A book/video titled "Culture Cancer". Let's see where it goes....
I did not forget that I have started a book about The Internet and one about Human Behavior.
I feel good going deep into these topics....keeps me sane and more educated. And I like it.
What I don't like, of course, is the fact that I don't find a place for me in this society and I can't really afford to spend many many months, make a great book, then put it for free, and expect to also survive in this bullshit society. That I am struggling with. I've always had. Says all I have to know about how fucked up this society is.
But anyway, I have survived while TROMing for the past 14 or so years, I will probably survive a few more years :).
You should survive man. I like your books. I think I've red almost all of them. Videos might be very cool too, but the amount of work and effort is much more. It's like anyway to create a book first (to make a script) and then film and edit it and put some nice b-roll and extra shot. Massive amount. Sometime me and Mara speaking about how you regardless to anything keep going. Seems always you find a motivation somewhere. I know you told me this many times that you just immerse yourself in work and that's helps you regardless the outcome and results. But still man, you are badass just keeping yourself motivated going trough this fucked up society.
I am loosing it so often, because quite often everything you are doing seems so pointless, and no one really care. And each time it's harder and harder to get up and keep going, because what we do is important. It is important nevertheless what society and our culture find valuable or not.
Recently I noticed you are more frustrated, I hope you will get trough this period. Just keep going man.
I'd say the two are a lot of work but in different ways. Designing a book, proofreading, sourcing, and making huge books overall, takes so much time as you know. But yah, will see probably that's why I am very frustrated and depressed this period of time since I am not busy with the things I love doing. However I started to write again and that makes me feel a lot better.
Thanks for the support and for continuing with your stuff. Like I told you before I thought you'd give up in less than a year. You exceeded all of my expectations and thats great :). It is damn hard to get 0 support from the society for the things that you do, plus the almost impossibility to reach people nowadays.
I am sure that after this bullshit season is over, in about 3 months, things will be a lot better for me/us. You know how crazy this little town is in the summer....but it is the last summer here for us, so at least that makes it easier to deal with it.

Le plus connu des groupes antifascistes de la première moitié du XXe siècle est l’Antifaschistische Aktion, organisation émanant du KPD (Parti communiste d’Allemagne) créée en juillet 1932, « point de départ d’une initiative par laquelle les communistes souhaitaient battre tout autant les nationaux-socialistes que les sociaux-démocrates » [1]. Il reste dans les mémoires davantage par son logo aux deux drapeaux (rouges à l’origine, aujourd’hui rouge et noir) que par ses actions d’éclat : en tant que composante du KPD, il préférait alors s’en prendre au SPD (Parti social démocrate) considéré comme un plus grand danger que les nazis !
C’est en Italie qu’apparaissent les premiers groupes antifascistes, dès 1920, dans le contexte de la contre-offensive réactionnaire qui fait suite aux deux années pré-révolutionnaires, le Biennio Rosso (1919-1921). Ce sont d’abord les formazioni di difesa proletaria, formations antifascistes qui participent aux occupations d’usine à Turin et combattent les squadristi et les groupes d’arditi (anciens combattants souvent proches du fascisme naissant) qui attaquent les grévistes et maisons des syndicats. Proches du Parti communiste italien (PCI), ces formazioni se révèlent peu efficaces face aux groupes fascistes.
En 1921, les arditi del popolo, naissent d’une scission de la section romaine des arditi provoquée par l’anarchiste Gino Lucetti. Plusieurs de ses leaders sont anarchistes mais on y trouve aussi des communistes et des syndicalistes. Seule une minorité des dirigeants du PCI leur sont favorables, à l’image d’Antonio Gramsci. Si les ardditi del popolo ne parviennent pas à s’opposer à la prise de pouvoir des fascistes, ils opposent néanmoins une forte résistance, comme à Parme en août 1922 où ils empêchent les fascistes de s’emparer de la ville durant la Fati di Parma [2]. Durant cette période , de nombreux groupes s’organisent localement pour résister physiquement aux agissement des squadristi, tels les Legione Proletaria Filippo Corridoni à Parme.
En France, dès le milieu des années 1920, l’Association républicaine des anciens combattants (ARAC, proche du Parti communiste) crée les Groupes de défense antifascistes, puis les Jeunes gardes antifascistes (JGA) qui regroupent plusieurs milliers de militants à la fin de la décennie. Au sein de la SFIO (socialiste), dès la fin des années 1920, des groupes d’autodéfense socialistes (GD) se constituent, avec essentiellement une fonction de « service d’ordre ». C’est sous l’impulsion de Marceau Pivert, un des animateurs du courant marxiste de la SFIO, que se créent en 1935 les Toujours prêts pour servir (TPPS), « l’organe officiel de l’autodéfense active du parti dans la région parisienne » [3]. Mieux organisés et armés que les GD, ils constituent un vrai groupe d’action antifasciste offensif. Ils adoptent le symbole des trois flèches, utilisé par le Eiserne Front (Front de fer) du SPD, que l’on retrouve comme symbole de la SFIO durant la seconde moitié des années 1930 (et qui est repris aujourd’hui par la Jeune garde).

Sometime me and Mara speaking about how you regardless to anything keep going. Seems always you find a motivation somewhere. I know you told me this many times that you just immerse yourself in work and that's helps you regardless the outcome and results.
