Here's a fun story with Contabo, the hosting company I use for our servers. Remember when they were dicks and forced me to remove a Nitter URL despite it being just a proxy? Well, I will move away from them, hopefully after TROM II is released, but these days I was looking for a cheap server to host a Chaotic AUR mirror to help the guys with that. Since Contabo was the cheapest for the Singapore location (where there is only 1 chaotic-aur server), I bought it.

Yes, I hate Contabo and I don't recommend it, but I didn't have the time to find a cheaper alternative.

Anyway. I buy it and wait...wait a day...wait 2 days...nothing. I email them, like wtf happened you crackheads? I get this reply:

For internal reasons we had to take the decision not to provide you with any products this time, we are awfully sorry to say. "For internal reasons" means we are not going to communicate our motivation. Our decision is not up for debate; we kindly ask for your understanding. Please do not take our decision personally. It has nothing to do with you but rather with reasons that we are not going to explain since we do not want you to misunderstand us or misinterpret our statements. Exactly because of this, we consider all information as internal company information.

What the hell are these people smoking haha!? I am quite sure it was because of me not taking it so lightly their decision to force me to remove a Nitter URL. In any case, Contabo provides great prices, and awful support. Looks like they are a bunch of scared teenagers that will bend to any company that makes a claim about any of their customers. They have no spinal cord.

Now I am worried they may send me an email in the near future telling me that they are closing all of my Contabo accounts, "For internal reasons" that they cannot explain because they are so secret dude.

So, anyway, they said they will refund me. They better will.

I wanted to do a good deed and create a cahotic-aur mirror server, and pay for it, and these douches' are being cocks.

In any case, if anyone knows very cheap hosting companies in Asia let me know. I need at least 200GB of disk-space for the repos.
