Should we provide a trade-free online password manager similar to Bitwarden?

The risks are like with any other online password manager: our server can be compromised or not working properly and such, and you may lose all of your passwords. That's the reason we are skeptical about providing such a service. But since it has many advantages like the ease of use across devices, we are thinking of providing such a service.

It is up to you, to let us know if you want that.

We can't do them all. Providing such a service is not that difficult. And we could do that. Teaching people how to protect their online privacy is something we've done in the past, and still do, but this would be on top of it all.

I did try out more DIY methods of managing passwords like using KeepassXC and such, however this is not something I'd recommend my friends or family because of its inconvenience. So having a user friendly password manager with built-in sync support is useful, its much better to use that than not use a password manager at all.

We provided Bitwarden before for a few weeks but removed it because of lack of time to make sure all is properly setup and well tested. But now am considering going for Vaultwarden and test it for a while, just to make sure all works fine.
