We are working on improving further our TROMjaro XFCE theming. Trying to make XFCE rock-solid when it comes to theming. We already fixed theming for QT6, so we have expanded the supported apps. But now we do not want to just focus on our Theme Switcher, but on XFCE's default System Theming. Basically we want a simple thing: when you install a system or icon theme, then you go to Appearance, select it, and it applies for: GTK, GTK + LIbadwaita, XFWM4 (XFCE), QT, QT5, QT6, and some flatpaks. We are almost there. An almost complete solution for theming. Proper theming that is.
The Linux community should work on making these things built-into the kernel honestly. It is important for all sorts of apps to have some common ground in regards to how they look. Not just for aesthetics, but usability. Want a dark theme? Different icon set? Different font? Then bloody hell all apps should respect these from the get go.
So yeah, thanks to @Rokosun who is the one responsible for coding all this, we will probably ship the next ISO with a greater theming functionality in TROMjaro, better than anything I've seen on any distro. :)
And anyone can copy it, and implement to their own systems.

Not the kernel, but I get your point, lol 😄
Working on this made me realize all the incompatibilities in linux, multiple different places to change the theme, fonts, icon theme etc. This is ridiculous when its possible to easily sync these things and give a single menu for the users. Upstream developers could easily fix this for all linux distros, not sure why no one cares to fix these things.
