āA human lifetime is very limited in time and space, compared to the universe.ā In a way, it is humbling, but itās also a relief to know that thereās a larger structure of which weāre a part that is so grand. Our imperfections, our struggles, our travails, when you put them in perspective, they somehow donāt seem so traumatic.ā
Weāre all emotional animals. And when thereās a crisisāwhen thereās no time to study the situation for weeksāwe have to decide **now**. We react through our understanding and experiences. So yes, that means weāre all idiots, vulnerable to corruption.
Thatās why we created **scientific methods**: to overcome the unchangeable parts of our inner selves.
A person who can clearly see and admit theyāre corrupted, selfish, and greedy? They can still create techniques to control themselves. When a person clearly sees that they **canāt change anything**, thatās the first step.
I think the most horrible thingsāwhatās happened and what will happenācome from this sickness in our minds. **And it is unchangeable.**
