@tio made another TROMjaro video 🙂 - https://videos.trom.tf/w/bE5Rw3pc5WvmLgSao8V8nw

Tio's sound is a bit different this time because he has COVID, wishing you a quick recovery my friend :blobcatheart:

If you watch this video you'll understand how awesome XFCE is, I'm impressed by how such a lightweight DE could be this much extensible. And of course #TROMjaro takes all of this awesomeness and makes it usable and easy for users, having sane defaults is very important if you're new to linux.

is not very comfortable with using the terminal so he always prefers GUI programs if available. But me being a fan of the linux #terminal, I wanted to help them improve it. Tio now calls me "The terminal guy", haha 😂

Anyway, if you wanna know what exactly we changed and what all features were added you can read through our release notes here - https://forum.tromjaro.com/t/tromjaro-2022-01-17/58#making-the-terminal-super-cool-5
(Just read under the section "Making the the terminal super cool.")

l also added a little "vim_mode" for all the vim fans 😉

I know how to print the working directory, change directories, and remove files, but not much more without looking it up.

So you use linux, that's nice 🙂. And its useful to know the basic terminal commands, you can always just look up the man pages to show you more info when you need it 😀

I'm now more experienced with terminals, and I've tweaked a bunch of things to make them easier for me, the post above explains some of it. I don't know what exactly it was, but I think it was learning vim that actually made me realize that terminal is easier to use in some cases compared to a GUI.
