Agreed, the trade lens would be just perfect here to explain a real reason of this fuckery to even exist.. But honestly I was so surpised to hear it even in this shape from a public figure. So rare.

Yes! I am really pleased to hear that. He really unpacked it very well. But the other ones, especially the psychologist (of course) keep on talking about "the mental diseases"· out there. What in the actual fuck. Pills and shit. Well....friend...look at society and what these platforms are incentivized to do. The comedian was more of a scientist than that psychologist hehe. :D

Totally! He looks like the only one real and sane person in the room speaking to a fuckin brick wall or something :facepalm
I'm following Bo for quite a while already and I generally like what he's doing. He definitely has a clear mind for some very untoucheable topics which humans don't even question usually, well packed in form of comedy.

I'm just really glad that fediverse is not into this attention trading business, no ads and algorithm here. Just the lack of these 2 things make a big difference, I feel like I'm in control of my online presence here.

Can't thank enough the communities of Fediverse for bringing these awesome projects to the world, feels like a fresh air after all the big farty ad spitting dumpsters :grinning squinting face:
I personally admire an ability to choose between literally dozens of the ways to communicate by selecting specific implementation like Mastodon, Friendica, Pleroma, etc. with all the different ways to organize news feeds, size of the messages, etc. and after all staying connected with all your peeps which may choose another project to stick with and all of that because of the unified protocol. This is fuckin amazing and liberating..
