Did a decent job today for TROM II. Adding some new footage to it. Can be a bit tricky to insert it now but am managing it so far. See how I have to make a gap like that in the project and work within that. It is not as easy as it looks like because you have to be careful not to unsync parts of the documentary.

And damn look at how many clips are in the project hahaha. Nuts. #tromlive

No. I've hear that it can do video editing but I never tried it. I use Kdenlive and works great. I tried loads of video editors but Kdenlive is the best trade-free one.

the UI looks similar, honestly. Cleaner perhaps. You've got some nice titles in your videos, which might be a little more challenging in Blender. But, not bad. But, yeah, Blender has a great video editor.

I looked at some video tutorials and Blender looked very limited to me and difficult to use. Kdenlive is geared to be a video editor. Has lots of effects and editing tools. And is super easy to use. Have you used Kdenlive? If so what do you think Blender does better?

nope never even heard of it.. But will definitely check it out.

Interesting because it is the most popular video editor on Linux. Give it a try it is really good.

will do! I might have to do a Blender vs Kdenlive opensource video editing match up video or something.
