First post! I'm looking for Rokosun's social.trom.tf/ account in the local directory, but I can't find it for the life of me. I also tried searching for it, but no results came up.

How does following people from YouTube work? Rokosun, are you out there?

For Youtube it works because of RSS. I use an invidous instance like ytb.trom.tf . Now when I go to a channel like this ytb.trom.tf/channel/UCDsElQQt_… all I do is to copy the channel URL into the search on social.trom.tf or in the contacts. Then I follow. Easy :)

@Tio @Émilie Fecteau Wow, I didn't know it would work over the search field, that's so much more easier than I thought! 😀

So I deleted my initial response, partly because I responded to the wrong message (lol) and also because I don't have any experience with following RSS feeds. So I asked Tio, and he's always there to help when you need him, such an awesome human 🙂

Yeah actually you can do that with any website or federated account. Drop them into the search and it automatically grabs the proper link to follow: mastodon, peertube, rss, etc

If @Rokosun didn't make his account public then you cannot find him. Usually you can click the main menu and then the Direcotry - social.trom.tf/directory . I could find him right away social.trom.tf/directory?searc…
