If you're seeing this, you are probably one of my Facebook friends who saw I was quitting FB and you were wondering about this site as an alternative. It's great, you can have more control in how your posts look, what posts you see, who gets to see your posts, and best of all...no forking ads. Come on, give it a shot, if you don't like it, it's not like you'll be out a bunch of money.

Facebook's gotta go

I can't believe Facebook did this...oh wait, yeah I can. It's time for us to protect our lives from big data companies. Open source solutions like Friendica and the Fediverse are now, officially, a must.
