Out of 654 Thai foreign workers questioned, all of them said they had been exposed to sexual assault.
A report, uncovered during the #Knesset's Special Committee on Foreign Workers on Tuesday, shows that all Thai foreign workers who work in Israeli agriculture have experienced some form of sexual assault at their jobs.
The report, compiled by immigration expert Dr. Yahel Kurlander and Dr. Shahar Shoham, detailed that out of 654 Thai foreign workers questioned, all of them said they have been exposed to sexual assault.
The situation is so dire that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital is running out of bandages.
“And what that has meant is that a 13-year-old child who has 50 to 60 percent burns on his body was not able to get sufficient bandage changes for wound cleaning, which then resulted in him having blood poisoning and exhibiting signs of early sepsis. He’s in the ICU.”

Hello, I just joined Friendica on social.trom.tf and I'm a little confused.
I thought Friendica was part of Activity Hub but under Protocols I don't see Activity Hub. and when I type a Mastodon account in Search eg my own: ,@Fiona Gregory it doesn't find it.
Should I be able to follow a Mastodon account on Friendica?
Yes Friendica uses the activitypub and more. It is compatible to pretty much any network. What you see there is a filter in case you want to filter the posts based on the protocol ;)
Thanks, Tio! I just tried again to search and follow my Mastodon account, and lo and behold, it now worked and "Activity Pub" has shown up in the list of Protocols 😊
