!Tips and Help (social.trom.tf) ur Friendica instance throws 502 Nginx errors at times, so you cannot access certain pages. This comes after we updated it a few days ago. It is very unfortunate and so far we have no idea how to fix it. We reported it to the Friendica and Yunohost developers. See github.com/friendica/friendica…

This is how you can connect Twitter with social.trom.tf and give up Twitter for good:#tromlive

Connect with Twitter

!Tips and Help (social.trom.tf) It is possible to connect with your Twitter account now. Simply go to Settings - Social Networks. Click Twitter and click to connect. You'll be redirected to a Twitter page to authorize our app. Get the code, add it to your settings page. That's all.

Now you can follow people on Twitter and interact with them from social.trom.tf. In theory you should also be able to post on Twitter, however from my tests it did not work.

In any case, this is a way for you to give up the trade-based ad-network that is Twitter, and use the trade-free social network social.trom.tf :).

Enable "stay local"

Go to Settings - Display - Content/Layout and enable (mark) the "stay local". This option will make it so that when you click someone's name, it won't kick off our platform, it will display that user's posts and profile in a native/local way, on social.trom.tf. It is overall a better experience for all users.
