It's honestly disconcerting seeing accounts on here (celebrities) that have posts with 60+ replies and not a single reply of their own to anybody in that thread

This is exactly the kind of thing we want to avoid here. The asymettrical parasocial experience that is encouraged with such people

The new people are all a twitter about tooting (see what I did there?). I post messages. I post messages on Friendica, Pixelfed, my phone, messaging apps, the US Postal Service, even Mastodon.

Post messages, and don't worry about what it's called on that platform.

Still getting basically no activity on my now-multiple fully naked artistic photography on tumblr (which requires me to tag them "sexual" even though it's literally just me existing in the nude) so they're definitely shadowbanning my posts so no one can see them.

So, tumblr is still sexist and under the thumb of the patriarchy; don't believe the propaganda they're not.

The other day, while I was on my computer adjusting saturation levels etc on some fantasy-themed #nudephotography photoshoots I did awhile ago:

Re: my experiment with posting daily nonsexual nudity to #tumblr since their rule change, no banned post yet, but they have been slapping all my posts with a "mature-sexual themes" community label, not letting me just label it "mature" (there's no subtag only for "nudity")

So it seems that like everywhere else, tumblr follows #thepatriarchy ideology in counting all bodies as "sexual," especially women's bodies.

Also, my posts are getting very few engagement, which seems dubious since I resurrected my old #toplesstopics account that already has hundreds of followers, plus people usually go nuts over any female nudity at all, even just topless.

Proposal: insisting in telling someone (almost always a female-presenting person) that you're masturbating to their content and there's nothing they can do to stop you is digital rape.

(NOT saying it's anywhere on the same level of pain and trauma as physical rape, but the underlying motive of subjugating someone through forced sexual actions is the same. It's still an act of domination, albeit much more cowardly)
